Salfo has been awarded the Design Consultancy Services of the Upgrading of the E15 highway from Ghayathi to Ruwais – Al Gharbia in Abu Dhabi. The project consists of the widening of the existing 2-lane dual carriageway to 3-lane dual carriageway between Ghayathi and the E-11 (Al Ruwais Bypass) and to extend and connect E-15 to the recently constructed 4-leg cloverleaf intersection at the old E-11, T-intersection. The construction of this extension /connection will prevent the need to upgrade the existing / old E-11 intersection, Al Gharbia. The section of the highway to be upgraded is approximately 32Km long and is characterized by a high number of U-Turns, roundabouts and property accesses to various locations along the highway, including labor camps.
This is the first project awarded by Musanada, a Public Joint Stock Company in Abu Dhabi which supports services to government entities in the areas of facilities management, construction, contract management, IT, Catering, Logistics, Stores etc. Musanada supports the delivery of Abu Dhabi Economic and Urban Planning visions.
