SALFO & Associates is honored to have been appointed as the Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport for the urgent rehabilitation of the road network in the Region of Thessaly, following the devastating impact of Storm Daniel in September 2023.
The project is a key component of the national recovery plan and aims to restore critical connectivity across the region, which suffered extensive infrastructure damage due to unprecedented flooding. The rehabilitation works will include road reconstruction, slope stabilization, drainage improvements, and protective measures to enhance long-term resilience.
As part of the Ministry’s advisory team, SALFO will provide expert services in project and contract management, design review and coordination, procurement support, and construction supervision—ensuring that the recovery is carried out swiftly, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
