The rehabilitation of road infrastructure in Thessaly, following the catastrophic impact of extreme weather events ‘Daniel’ and ‘Elias’, is progressing steadily. A high-level site inspection was recently conducted at four major bridge reconstruction locations—Kalambaka, Farsala, Almyros, and Volos—where works by construction firms TERNA and AVAX are currently underway. The visit was carried out alongside the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Nikos Tachiaos, underlining the strategic importance of the projects and the coordinated efforts between the State and the technical community.
