Comprehensive Study of Car Parking Problems in the Cities of KSA
SALFO delivered a landmark transportation project for Saudi Arabia, by developing the Strategic Parking Management Plan for the Kingdom. Research has been carried out in 23 cities, with population exceeding or close to 250,000 people.
Parking demand and supply has been quantified, while current institutional and legislative issues have been evaluated in the study, which will enable authorities to tackle the growing needs for the future 20 years, in accordance with the national Vision 2030.
Exhaustive data collection and detailed GIS applications have been utilized for the development of different policy scenarios and the formulation of a toolbox of strategies, combining smart solutions.
