SALFO & Associates is proud to have provided expert Construction Supervision services for the development of the Saadiyat Lagoons District, one of the flagship projects by the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) in Abu Dhabi.
Saadiyat Island, a 27 $km^2$ world-class destination located 500 meters offshore Abu Dhabi, is being transformed into a premier tourism and leisure hub. The island’s strategic masterplan comprises seven distinct districts, each offering a unique experience:
- Cultural District
- Saadiyat Beach
- South Beach
- The Wetlands
- Island Lagoons
- Al Marina
- ECO-Point
The Saadiyat Lagoons District is a critical component of this massive development, which is expected to accommodate a population of over 170,000 residents. Ensuring seamless connectivity, the district and the wider island are linked to Abu Dhabi Island through an extensive network of modern bridges and tunnels.
As the Construction Supervision consultant, SALFO ensured that the development adhered to the highest standards of engineering and quality. Our role was pivotal in managing the complex logistical and technical requirements of such a large-scale urban environment, contributing to the realization of a project that redefines sustainable and luxury living in the United Arab Emirates.
