Portofino Family Hotel - The Heart of Europe
The Portofino Family Hotel is the first hotel project developed on the “World Islands” in Dubai, the infamous cluster of man-made islands that form the map of the world, when seen from above.
It is a 5-star luxury hotel with 451 rooms and a total area of approximately 55,000m2. The design captures the essence of an Italian port city.Reached only by the sea and not connected with the mainland of Dubai, both the construction, design and operations had to solve issues such as power generation, provision of drinking water and food, sewage treatment, waste management and Fire and Life Safety services.
