Patras Port Technical Consultant
The port of Patras plays a main role in the field of marine transportation and is the west gate of Greece towards Italy and the rest of Europe. SALFO, a sub-contractor of TPA in association with AECOM, was awarded the construction supervision of the New Port of Patras.
The works included the following:
- Harbor works of the platform of the 5th dock
- The extension of the detached breakwater (total length up to 210m)
- Road and traffic works inside and outside the controlled land zone of the harbor
- Drainage works of rainwater of the additional land zone of the harbor
- Building facilities (terminal station, control tower, ticket booth, stores, etc.)
- E/M installations/ networks of the aforementioned building facilities
- Landscaping works
