Heritage Assessment for Diriyah Gate III, AdDiriyadh
SALFO provides Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) with a Multi-disciplinary Assessment and Archeological Investigations to develop an integrated urban development model for DGDA’s 3rd development (DGIII) within its supervisory area. The area of approximately 3 km2, which is considered a palimpsest of Saudi culture and architectural tradition, could be a milestone for the wider DG project, enhancing the awareness of the foundation and history of Saudi Arabia, with connecting the past with modernity and future directions. The area contains historical battlegrounds and remains of the ancient walls.
