Regarding the Processing of Personal Data

2. Categories of Data We Process

In the context of evaluating your application, we may collect and process in particular the follow-
ing categories of personal data:
• identification data (full name, date and place of birth),
• contact details (residential address, telephone number, email address),
• information included in your curriculum vitae (CV),
• information relating to education, academic qualifications, professional licences and
certifications,
• information relating to professional experience and participation in projects,
• references or information provided by individuals you have indicated as referees,
• information contained in cover letters, portfolios or work samples,
• identification documents that may be requested at a later stage (e.g. identity card),
• any other information you voluntarily provide in the context of your application.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
• receipt and registration of your curriculum vitae (CV),
• evaluation of your application,
• communication with you in the context of the recruitment process,
• conducting interviews and managing the recruitment process,
• staffing projects or project teams,
• taking pre-contractual steps prior to the potential conclusion of an employment or
cooperation agreement,
• compliance with legal obligations,
• the establishment, exercise or defence of the Company’s legal claims.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data is based on:
• the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request,
• the Company’s legitimate interest in evaluating candidates,
• compliance with legal obligations,
• your consent, where such consent is required.

5. Recipients of the Data

Access to your personal data is granted only to authorised personnel of the Company, such as:
• the Human Resources Department,
• members of the management team,
• project or department managers.
Your personal data may also be disclosed to IT service providers or other partners acting as data
processors, as well as to public authorities where this is required by law.

6. Data Retention Period

The Company retains applicants’ personal data for as long as necessary for the evaluation of the
application and, in any case, for a period of up to two (2) years from the submission of the curric-
ulum vitae, unless:
• you request their deletion earlier,
• their retention is required for a longer period due to a pending or potential legal claim, or
• you have provided specific consent for their retention for future employment or collabo-
ration opportunities.
After the expiration of the above period, the data are deleted or securely destroyed, unless their
retention is necessary for the establishment or defence of legal claims.

7. Rights of Applicants

You have the following rights: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure,
the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, the right to
withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
