Salfo has been assigned the marine design for the formation of a private swimming shore for VVIP end user, at Ras Usherij – Qatar.
This challenging project aims to the conversion of the 300m-length of shoreline into a high-end beach, destined to offer moments of relaxation and rest. The beach will be nourished with fine sandy material of the best quality, leading smoothly into a swimming basin of approximately 230m width. The prevailing wave climate calls for the development of groynes for the prevention of the material loss. The armoring structures will be submerged where possible, so as to minimise any visual disturbance. Αs part of the marine design, particular attention is given to the maintenance of the appropriate water circulation, after the development of the structures.
