SALFO & Associates is proud to hold a leading role in the Project Management Office (PMO) for the major expansion program of Athens International Airport (AIA). This strategic development is designed to significantly increase the airport’s capacity, aiming to serve up to 40 million passengers annually.
The expansion program constitutes one of the most significant aviation projects in the region, encompassing a wide range of critical infrastructure upgrades:
- Terminal Extensions: Expansion of both the Main and Satellite Terminal Buildings to accommodate growing passenger traffic.
- Parking & Airside Facilities: Development of new vehicle parking facilities and additional aircraft parking aprons.
- Infrastructure Improvements: Major enhancements to passenger services and core airport systems to ensure a world-class travel experience.
