SALFO & Associates is proud to announce that its Abu Dhabi Branch has been awarded a Plaque of Appreciation for its excellent performance in the Design and Construction Supervision of the Ras Ghumais infrastructure project.
This prestigious recognition underscores SALFO’s commitment to engineering excellence and its ability to deliver complex, large-scale transport solutions in the Middle East. The project constitutes a vital link in Abu Dhabi’s western region, significantly enhancing connectivity for residents, businesses, and visitors.
The scope of the project involved high-level engineering challenges, including:
• A six-lane road connecting the E11 Highway to Ras Ghumais Island.
• 30.85 km of highway infrastructure, designed for speeds of up to 140 km/h.
• A major interchange connecting the E11, including an underpass serving the Ras Ghumais residential area and local facilities.
• A new flyover and specialized connecting roads to optimize access to the Al Ghuwaifat area.
• Strategic widening of truck lanes and the construction of a roundabout to improve regional traffic flow.
This achievement was made possible through the dedication and synergy of our project team. Under the technical leadership of Alok Kumar Puri (Technical Director), and the coordination of Mamdouh Kasem (Resident Engineer) and Udaya Bhaskar Chevvakula (Design Manager), the team delivered results that adhere to the highest international standards of safety and functionality.
This award reinforces SALFO’s growing presence in the region and highlights our core values of integrity, expertise, and passion for delivering infrastructure that transforms landscapes and connects communities.
