Tabuk Strategic, Regional and Local Plans

As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the Ministry of Ministry of Municipal and Housing (MOMH), in collaboration with the Development Authorities Support Centre (DASC), commissioned SALFO and Associates to develop a Strategic Plan and lead a comprehensive regional and urban planning project for the Tabuk Region, which covers approximately 146,000 km² and is home to over 900,000 residents.

The project aims to establish regionally tailored planning strategies aligned with national spatial frameworks, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the New Urban Agenda. While initially focused on the city of Tabuk, the scope was extended to include a Regional Plan and Local Plans with Urban Codes for the cities of Tabuk and Tayma. The Key deliverables include spatial development frameworks, policies, zoning codes, and urban design guidelines that support sustainable urban growth, preserve cultural and architectural identity, and enhance livability—fully aligned with Vision 2030’s strategic pillars of a vibrant society, thriving economy, and ambitious nation.
