SALFO & Associates, is honored to have been appointed as the Independent Certifier for two major irrigation infrastructure projects in Greece, implemented through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
The projects form part of Greece’s strategic investment program in sustainable water management and agricultural competitiveness:
- Restoration and Modernization of the Irrigation Networks of TOEB Tavropos – development of a closed underground irrigation network serving 11,500 hectares of farmland.
- Irrigation Network of Ypereia (Larisa) – Orfana (Karditsa) – creation of an integrated irrigation system covering 6,780 hectares of cultivable land.
As Independent Certifier, SALFO will provide expert oversight of design, construction, and operational compliance, ensuring quality delivery, contractual adherence, and long-term performance.
These projects will play a vital role in enhancing irrigation efficiency, promoting sustainable water resource use, supporting climate change adaptation, and rebuilding infrastructure damaged by natural disasters.
